Estate Planning for Millennials & Gen Z’ers in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, & Pennsylvania
Pioneering asset protection and inheritance strategies for the next generation of digitally affluent families — on the cusp of the largest transfer of wealth in history.
Legacy Planning, Reimagined:
We provide a refreshingly practical approach to outdated legacy planning methods to help you:
Plan for major life milestones: adopting pets, getting married, buying a home, and raising kids
Acquire, store, and transfer new types of digital assets and digital property
Navigate the sandwich generation phase of life, caring for aging parents and young children
Prepare for the great wealth transfer from Baby Boomers to Millennials and Gen Z’ers
Manage the contingencies of incapacity, divorce, mixed families, emergency preparedness, and more
We are living through the largest inter-generational transfer of wealth in history, as trillions of dollars move from baby boomers to Millennials and Gen Z. Unlike previous generations, many of today’s inheritors maintain a robust digital presence and hold a new form of wealth: bitcoin.
While traditional estate planning methods were built for bank accounts, cars, and real estate, they fail to address the unique challenges of digital assets and the digital age. A misplaced key, a forgotten seed phrase, or an executor unfamiliar with cold storage can mean that a lifetime of savings is lost forever. Additionally, password-protected mobile devices, cloud-based photo and video content, and other similar electronic data not only needs be preserved, but remain accessible to heirs in a world full of uncertainties.
Individuals and families with digital lives cannot rely on outdated solutions. They need modern wealth management strategies that bridge legal frameworks with secure technical practices and common sense emergency plans - so their wealth, sovereignty, and legacy are preserved for the next generation.

Get Started
Futureproof Your Life and Legacy Today With Our Simple 4-Step Process!
-
The first step is to schedule your Futureproof Planning Session, a 60-minute attorney consult via Zoom where we will discuss your goals and legacy ideas, educate you on the estate planning process (and digital assets, if you’re interested), outline our services and fees, and answer any questions you may have. To help make this session as productive as possible, a secure online planning questionnaire will be sent to you in advance of this meeting. Should you choose to move forward, an engagement letter and an initial invoice will be emailed to you, both of which can be processed electronically.
-
Most clients do not know what type of estate plan is best suited for their needs. Using the information you provided to us during the Futureproof Planning Session and via the secure online planning questionnaire, we will work with you to design a plan that meets your goals. This will often require a separate 30-60 minute meeting via Zoom, where we will discuss your concerns at length, ensure we have a sound understanding of your family structure and assets, and have backup plans in place for possible contingency scenarios.
-
Using our knowledge and experience gained from drafting estate plans focused on next-gen families, we will spend time preparing your estate plan, conducting an intensive legal review, circulating initial drafts, and working with you to incorporate any requested updates or modifications. We will also review your plan in detail with you to ensure all of your questions are answered. Final drafts of your plan will ultimately be circulated to you and approved by you in advance of the Futureproof Signing Ceremony.
-
The final step is to attend the Futureproof Signing Ceremony, where you will execute your documents in front of witnesses and a notary to ensure they are properly executed under state law. This usually occurs 4-6 weeks after the Futureproof Planning Session. We can have this session at our office or your home. Following execution of the documents, we are available for free, unlimited lifetime consultations regarding your existing estate plan. Note that Futureproof Legacy Plans may require some time post-signing to complete funding.
